Wholeness

Why should we live with such hurry and waste of life? We are determined to be starved before we are hungry?                                                                                          Henry David Thoreau

When I think about how to bring peace to the world I have to, as always, return to the self. How can we hope to create peace in the world if we cannot find peace within our own lives. This is a question I posed to Spirit many years ago when  I was asked to step off the landing of  my new-found contentment and begin to climb towards bringing peace to this world. "What can I do?" I asked the Spirit one day. "This information has been around for 13 thousand years, there for anyone in the world to see. Why should I believe little-old-me could make a difference?" And the only response I got. over the course of many moons and much meditation, was "If one man can change, any one can change." I knew they meant me. If they could change me, they could change anyone and it wasn't MY job to do that. My job was to provide food to starving men. It was NOT my job to persuade them to eat. That would be between them and their God.
My work has been focused on how to provide people  with tools that will help them find their way to Wholeness. I knew what wholeness meant to me but what did it mean to the world. So I looked it up in the dictionary, an enlightening little game but we'll talk about that another time! It was defined as complete; having all the essential or original parts in their proper constitution. The only thing I knew that was complete with all the original parts in their proper place was Nature.
The Old Ones taught, in many different languages, that we were a reflection of Nature and it's elements: fire, water, air, earth and metal. The elements were symbols of the many facets of ourselves like our creativity and passion, spiritual beliefs and our reasoning minds so created a 5-pillar system based on them. A life build on these cornerstones; emotional balance, a disciplined mind, a healthy body, great relationships, spiritual connection and purposeful work that brings great abundance, creates a firm foundation for a life of personal power and peace. It is on this foundation that we have created the programs for Paradiegma.
Only when we can be whole within our Selves can we be whole in relationship with another human being. When we learn to be whole within ourselves and with others we might have a shot at world peace. Sounds like a crazy plan, I know, but hey, everyone needs a hobby!
